When You throw and Enter the Crypto it only goes up to 5 meters

To clarify, is the drone only going 5 meters on that initial throw? Are you able to fly it further after you take manual control of the drone?

Playing as Crypto, when throwing your drone out, if you hold your tactical button to go straight into it, the drone will freeze in place. Usually it only gets about 5m before freezing and becoming a sitting duck until you have control of it. I’ve also tried tapping instead of holding, but it seems like there’s a delay/cooldown before pressing it again is registered… so then yes, it goes the intended 25m, but is again frozen in place for a couple seconds during the “switching to drone view” animation/transition.
This means if I’m pushing forward and want to throw my drone, I’m usually ahead of it a little because it froze and I was able to run for a few more seconds. I have to catch up to myself to push and EMPs are much less effective. Any tactical use with enemies nearby is thrown out the window because they shoot it down before I can move it or use it anywhere and I’ve combatted this by just throwing it at the ground or wall to ensure it’s not a target until I have control.
I really loved the change made last season to tap to throw it out or hold to throw and enter and it worked perfectly. The drone was always on the move. But in this season/update, I think there’s an unintended freeze on the drone position/movement in those few moments between telling the game I want to enter the drone and actually entering it.
