What happens when the bug occurs? The game switches window/jumps out to the desktop. I am playing, and all of a sudden the game jumps out to windows, as if I was pressing Atl-Tab. (I'm NOT). It also minimizes the window/jumps out to windows if an "Origin Friend" goes online or offline. It pretty much happens at random, sometimes the pop-up friend window works, sometimes it doesn't, and the game jumps out/minimizes. This ruins the gameplay.
What should be happening instead? NOTHING
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play the game, it happens all the time.

This messes with the gameplay.

I have managed to catch this happening while recording, so it's not just my imagination.

This bug has to be sorted. I have gotten several games ruined the last few days. It is SO annoying.

Thank you in advance, and thanks for a great game.

(If it helps in anyway, I am running the game on Windows 7 64-bit, GTX670 2GB, i7)

It runs better now, thank you.

No switches / minimizing so far. I'll just keep these settings for now. Cheers.

    Hey @Menex777

Can you do a clean bootand see if you are still getting this issue?

    Disabling notifications in Windows
What also could be a fix is disabling your Notifications .
Press your windows key and open settings.

Now click on System, there you will find Notifications & actions

Try to turn off the apps that minimize your game with notifications.

Just to repeat, I'm running Windows 7.

The only "app" that creates this minimization, is Origin. There is no other software running. I am the admin on this computer. No such action is allowed on my machine. There are no other notifications made than that from the Origin program.

I really think this is a bigger issue than it might seem. And here is why.

When I play the game, and I shoot down a flying dino carrying a case, the following happens:

The case drops. And the game shows the GAMETAG on that box, of the most current user that pop-up:ed as online or offline.

Yes. You read that right. The dino loot box, gets the name of the user who's name most recently popped up in the Origin notification window. As if it was a death-box.

That cannot be Windows related. Origin related, yup. But not Windows related.

Doing a clean boot has little to do with the code of the software, if any. I really don't see the purpose of that. This is very unlikely Windows related. That sounds far-fetched.

I went a bit futher today, and instead of just inactivating Origin in-game, I've deactivated all chat, friend activity and game messages. I'm hoping that will help sort the issue for now.

It seems these functions cannot be active for the game to run as prompted, at least for the moment being. It wasn't like this before.

Again, thanks for a great game, your suggestions, and a caring support and community. I really appreciate it. ❤️
