What happens when the bug occurs? Sound cuts out from different directions - cannot hear the gunfire unless actively facing towards it.
What should be happening instead? Should be able to hear gunfire without having to turn to face it?
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install Logitech G Hub + use a recent G-series headset with surround sound either dolby/DTS in the G Hub settings.
Not sure if it's just me being stupid but I have noticed that when using my Logitech G430 7.1 headset with the Logitech G Hub (needed for my G502 mouse more than anything) that the in-game sound in Apex Legend is completey messed up.
I have to physically turn my character to either left or right in order to hear anything from either direction and cannot hear footsteps, gunfire or ambient sounds that can otherwise be heard with a stereo-headset.
This issue is not there when I uninstall Logitech G Hub and just use the older Logitech Gaming Software instead, the sound is perfect without it but there is less customization for my mouse as a result.
G hub doesn't yet support the G430 but like said at the top it does support my mouse which is why I had it installed to begin with.
Does anyone else have this issue or know of a different solution to have both installed and decent sound in game?
