PS5 - Surround Sound 5.1 Linear PCM - NOT WORKING FOR MONTHS

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Everywhere in match
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. for example, hearing gun shots behind you
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 10 seasons worth
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue?
What happens when the bug occurs? I’m an audio engineer by trade. The 5.1 and 7.1 Linear PCM signal is being summed to Stereo which causes Mono and L/R noises to be EXTREMELY loud. Surround Sound via Linear PCM on Xbox Series X + PS5 have not been working for 3 months now. Every other game I play it works seemless.
What should be happening instead? You should be able to hear gunshots/grenades behind you etc.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get your Audio guys to fix it. FYI this is an issue only for SPEAKERS in surround sound Linear PCM. Issue is present on both consoles PS5/Series X
