Forum Discussion
Unsure if this is a technical issue on my side or some sort of bug as I've looked at other people's in-game screenshots and can't seem to see a similar thing occur.
It's a minor visual bug but it did give me pause to investigate that my hardware was not malfunctioning.
Also I have not noticed this issue in any previous seasons/patches.
On most of the lobby screens (Play, Event, Seasonal, etc) as well as all in-game scenes, there is precisely one pixel on the very bottom of my screen which is a pale green/blue.
At first I feared a dead pixel on my monitor, however it kept disappearing and re-appearing whenever the game was loading or transitioning. Plus it turns out I could capture it in a screenshot.
The pixel in question never moves but it's colour does shift very slightly (+/-20% brightness, post-capture).
Disabling overlays (Steam, GeForce) has no effect.
Changing graphical settings seemingly has no effect.
Lowering my resolution simply moves the offending pixel to the right.
The pixel does not appear on certain screens: Store, Settings page or whenever an "overlay" is present, such as when selecting a game mode or a Quit confirmation.
No other games seem to create this issue, nor does it show up on desktop.
My only other guess is there may be some HDR/shader weirdness at play but it doesn't make sense for that to only show up as a single pixel in a single game.
I've attached screenshots of the lobby and in-game with zoom-ins to show said pixel (JPEG compression may have crunched it slightly) as well as a DxDiag for good measure.
(I also do not know why my forum name is just a string of nonsense)
