What happens when the bug occurs? The Steam version of Apex Legends does not correctly display the PlayStation controller button icons. It only displays Xbox button icons.
What should be happening instead? If someone is using a PS controller is should display PS button icons. If someone is using an Xbox controller is should display Xbox button icons. Etc ...
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start the game via Steam and try using a PlayStation controller.
Basically, when playing Apex Legends on PC via Steam and using a PlayStation controller the game only displays XBox button icons.
Other games display the button icon that corresponds with the controller in use: XBox for XBox, Switch for Switch, PlayStation for PlayStation, etc
One of my squad mates is dyslexic, is trying to learn the game, and it's a real issue for him.
