Wraith Tactical Glitch/Exploit? Invulnerable on Gravity Cannon.

What happens when the bug occurs? We were fighting off drop; enemy Wraith ran from buildings to gravity cannon using her Tactical. Wraith came out of Tactical on gravity cannon; I was directly behind her and opened fire using Havoc. Saw blood splatter effects coming out of Wraith but there were no damage markers, damage numbers or other information - bullets had no effect on her other than seeing the blood splatters. Gravity cannon then activates and fires her away.
What should be happening instead? I should be doing damage!
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Might be related to the Wraith Tactical and gravity cannon interacting weirdly in some way? No way for me to test or replicate on my end. Also have no idea how frequent this is.
