since 2 or 3 months little dumb kids complaining about fat guys are losers and need to buff. so now finaly they got it .
they are fat.
i am terrible too, i'll have a shotgun as an example if i have a peacekeeper and i make a shot on a octane for example it will do some damage but if i do that same shot on caustic then it will do a lot of damage, honestly i think 10% is pretty fair overall especially since both caustic and gib had by far the lowest winrates and pretty sure the lowest pickrates
Oh i can explain it, you are just very bad, Gibraltar and caustic are big, you can hit them very easy, if you can't and cry because he get 10% damage reduction, i Don't see why you Don't cry about wraith, lifeline, and pathfinder who get 100% damage reduction against you (since you can't shoot them), because you already fail to shoot gib.

I meet Gibraltar/Caustic in the first ten to thirty seconds of the game...no weapon available...just my fists are able to deal damage...I now make incredible 27 damage instead of 30...it is still more than a Mosambique will do...where this 10% doesn't matter at all. :D
It's one or two shots more against a hugh wall of meat.

The thicc guys, (Gibraltar and Caustic) had some issue's in certain situations for example being in the open.
Those gunfights didn't felt fair as they were much easier to hit the a mirage or a lifeline.There for they received a little buff to make them more viable in those kinds of situations and try to let players use them as a normal legends.
and not only a legend for close quarters gun fights.
This buff will be reviewed closely and will see tweaking when they think it's not balanced or broken.Zeelmaekers

Yeah, it's going to take a lot more than 10% dmg reduction to make either of them viable.
Fundamentally Caustic is made weak by:
- the map (few enclosed spaces)
- the fundamental mechanics of BR (keep moving!)
- the anti-synergy he has with his team mates.
His redeeming feature is that he's strong in the very early game, where combat is hectic, players are poorly equipped, and TTK is long enough for the gas to matter.
Beyond that though, he's mostly a liability for the 99% of teams (and majority of legends) who are focused primarily on mobility.
Skills wise Gibby really isn't all that bad, but 10% dmg reduction doesn't do nearly enough to mitigate the ease with which he can be hit.
With the recoil patterns & bullet spread of guns, I wouldn't be surprised if Gibby receives ~50% more damage due to his larger size.
Moreover it isn't just the increased damage, it's the slow inflicted by these hits and the further consequential damage this lost manoeuvrability causes.
I've no idea how to balance Caustic, but Gibby would be much improved if he didn't suffer any slowdown from being shot.

The only weapons affected are the sniper rifles and those weren't the issue at all for caustic and gib which are supposed (from their abilities) to be used in CQC or at the very least short-medium range. Yeah, funniest thing, strafing left right helps for all characters, but not for Gibby and Caustic since you actually dot even have to move mouse in that case to hit them!
