Accidental melee is a problem

Accidental melee on controller is really annoying. 

Please, pretty please for love of God give us the abbility to map R3 to a D-pad button that does nothing. 

Currently all D-pad buttons do something like bringing up a chat wheel or heals so mapping R3 to one of them is out of the question at the moment.

Please allow us to disable the down D-pad button chat wheel so I can map R3 to R1 and then map R3 to down on the D-pad. 

This way I can do this...

Melee R1

Ping D-down down 

R3 would do nothing. Which is what I really want. Accidental melee is getting me killed far to often and mapping it to another button is currently not an option. Please change this.

    @MARNO-RLSorigin If your using a ps4 controller thats the issue, i used to throw out punches all the time but i switched to a xbox one controller and don’t ever throw out accidental punches anymore

    Interesting, I'll look in to that but this wasnt really a problem a couple months ago. The problem started for me when they updated the down D-pad button to bring up a chat wheel.  Without a neutral button the problem is impossible to deal with for me. I really dont want to go and buy an xbox controller just to avoid this issue. Thanks though.
