Alc. Up the Outter threshold setting to 100%, why is it capped at 30%. Dead Zone
I want my controller to feel more like an arcade joystick, like a classic video game. I want to dumb down my settings, make the game simpler to play.
I want to make aiming and tracking simpler that way I don't have to put so much effort into it.
It feels like I'm currently using 99% of my brain but still have no control over it. It feels more like a chore.
I want to turn at 75 sensitivity or not at all. All I want to have to do is control the direction I'm firing in and not so much the speed I'm turning at.
I can't do both on controller, when tracking on PC you're not controlling the turn rate, only the duration of the turn and it's direction.
On controler you have to control the speed( it varies because of tilt), the direction, and the time( how long the stick was held).
I don't want to have to have to move my joystick so much when enemies are strafing spaming. Having to move the joystick from right to left completely makes it feel slow and dull.
I play on low sensitivity it's a struggle to track targets having to move the stick all the way from the center to the very edge, it's really slow compared to how fast the enemies are spamming left and right strafe.
The human brain is not designed to make micro aim adjustments at 0.4 millisecond intervals 4 to 5 times in an 4 second window let alone on a controller, with input lag of 35 to 120ms(ping) using your thumbs.
This whole curve thing where it ramps up from the values between between 0 and 75 yeah my brain just can't compute fast enough to send the signals from my eyes to my brain into my thumb.
I'm just trying to relax and have some fun but it feels like rocket science.
Ironically I feel like I have no control over the game despite using a controller.
Dead zones they have to go. They delay your ability to counteract recoil.
You guys need to write some new code so only the up, left and right input values have dead zones apply to them.
Stick drift it's not an issue when it only moves in one direction.
When it only moves downward it's controllable.
When it moves in all directions all the time that's uncontrollable.
No one's going to care if it drifts downward because it counteracts recoil and removes the delay when pulling down to counter it.
At the very least play test it the suggested changes.
