4 years agoThe connection to your router is a little suspicious for a wired connection. You should have a worst ping in the single digits. The node in your neighborhood is the 2nd hop and it shouldn't be that high. It's not high enough to cause lag or disconnects. That comes with the 7th hop. Where are you located? The test server you pinged is in the US so if you're in another country, it could be due to the distance between you and the server. However, your router and local node are both showing issues.

@EA_Aljo The servers are so bad it's pretty much a running joke on reddit and everywhere else. Although I'm sure the attempt to help is sincere, and there may be a problem with this guys connection to his router, it is probably worth acknowledging that the servers are known to be pretty bad.
It pretty much borders on gaslighting for anyone that doesn't have local router issues, because it (the lack of acknowledgement) comes across as an implicit denial that there's any problem on EAs end, and doesn't acknowledge the people getting their games ruined from EAs unwillingness to invest in their servers because of its lack of profitability.
