Balancing of apex
Good morning Apex team and players. I was wondering if there would ever be balance add? So i just started apex few weeks ago. Im currently up to like 100 kills or so average about 1 a game or so. My ...
loads of programs to help your aim, training ground in apex also exists and FEEL THE PAIN that those that did all that for a while are giving to you. You think success comes easy ?
Actually i have done the training grounds for over 4 hours total now. But in reality its not a good training grounds. It is shooting stand still objects with very slow moving objects. No where near real game play where i can better set controlls better for real game play. I am having to alter my settings while playing. Just to feel it out and see how fast i need to make my aiming movement my actual movement left to right etc. Is a lot more to it then just jumping in a dull tutorial that dont even let you test things on the character you mainly play. Dont let me as one persons opinion damper your day my friend. Simply giving my feedback being a game coder programmer and player of online games over 25 years. It is merely that my opinion and my feedback.
I am giving you a feedback of someone that could not hit a tank if i was standing in front of it, and now is making 21 kills and 4530 dmg in one game. ME. Put MORE effort into it or go play SIMS
So hostile. This is whats wrong with a lot gaming communities while giving advice trying sound helpful you do so in most toxic form possible.
I feel your pain, I suffered a severe brain injury 3 years ago in a brutal car accident. Video games were part of my recovery process. Hand eye coordination took a long time to come around. To this day I still struggle to "see" things others just see.
My advice would be focus more on your enviroment look for cover whenever possible. Play the smaller legends stay away from Gibby and Caustic. This will make it easier in open combat to dodge behind a tree. Take your time, and make sure to do what you can to support your team. One thing I have found handy is keep an inventory of nades. Lob em and lob em again.
As far as hostility take it with a grain of salt, it is easy to be aggressive and hostile in any internet based enviroment.
One other piece of advice follow your teammates ues in game, if they are engaging everyone they see then follow suit. If they are pinging enemies but not engaging do the same if the situation allows. I played a ton of random games in season 2 and the one thing that struck me was how many players ran the spectrum on engaging or not.
As far as gunplay and getting used to it download titanfall 2 and play with the guns there in multiplayer or even game mode. These guns in Apex are just newer versions of those weapons.
I agree. While I’m an experienced player - we are constantly bulldozed by teams with multiples 3000-10000 kill players. It’s very frustrating no matter how much we practice - you can’t recreate the years of FPS playing these players clearly have. My wish is that the game would auto scale games to keep you within similar scale with the other players. Let the 1000 plus players eat each other’s lunches. Currently it’s like putting a random crowd member on court one on one against Michael Jordan’s. Pointless. So give us some scaling Apex. As it stands - I’m not expecting to play much more because 20 1 minute games in a row isn’t much fun.
