This gun is stronger than the Mastiff, and the Mastiff is a gold weapon - Developers, how to you rationalize that?Here's a few videos of me in the firing range doing one shot with the PK then Mastiff, and mastiff deals LESS damage. Plus, PK reloads WAY faster, has 6 shots before reloading, and AMMO PICKUPS. I recently stopped using the Mastiff and instead using the PK despite hating it.You can see in the videos how unbalanced the PK is. I honestly can't wait to hear all the people say the PK is perfect where it is cause if so the Mastiff needs a HUGE buff. But honestly, a random pickup weapon shouldn't have the capacity of doing +100 dams in one shot on the body.

@Robo_The_Man-Bot I agree PK has no counter now that r-99 got nerfed, 6 shots is too much for that kind of damage, ill be happy if they reduce to 2 the amount of shots per magazine, because there's no risk using Pk, you can miss 4- shots and still can kill someone with purple, its all the power of a double barrel shotgun but with 6 shots.

@EA_David you did nothing to PK, you try to balance PK like if was a very sensitive weapon, but you drop the nerf hammer so hard on weapons like r-301, r-99 and wingman, stop the weapon favoritism, and nerf PK properly, drop the insane damage to the body, 110 to a body shot is wrong, bullet dispersion is almost non existant, .1 nerf was a joke, no damage drop at distance is wrong, 5 bullets for a weapon with that damage is wrong. I land a sentinel headshot to a guy with gold helmet and land a 105 damage, he land me a bodyshot with PK and make 110 damage, (he erased my purple and some life) that's an example of how broken that weapon is

@EA_David The balance for the new nerfs are great. just needs the headshot multiplier of 1x on the pk at 38+ meters to put it in line with the rest of the shotguns.

A single clip should not be able to wipe an entire team. Just saying 🙂

@SolitaryMassacre Yep, one hundred damage for a body shot is just ludicrous! I don't understand how Respawn has let this stay in the game for this long! Seriously, it's almost impossible to lose a gunfight at close range with the PK!

Its a pump action shotgun that requires you to be in ❤️❤️❤️❤️ range in order to do proper damage. Just keep some distance between you and you're target.

Strong? very.

Overpowered? nah were cool.

@Punkalo-0 so it's not OP when you run around a corner and some dude is corner camping with the PK and you get pretty much insta downed? I mean, there's no other close-range weapon in the game that can do what the PK does, but all the other weapons in the game (snipers for example) have other weapons in their CLASS that are able to match the other weapons in their respective categories. We're excluding care-package only weapons, BTW, because those are supposed to be OP, if you do want to include them, then there is only one argument left for either of us to make and that is; the next nerf/buff for the PK would be making it a care-package only weapon.

@audiofilomx Are you saying make it only have 2 shots? 'Cause I agree with that, but they'd have to make it do 90 to a hundred damage more consistently, or just make it do like 70-80 damage at close range and then you could take two shots to switch to your other weapon and down your opponent pretty fast! This idea actually works really well, I was doing that with the Sentinel yesterday and it only does 69 dmg to the chest and you have to have more accuracy than the PK (it was at extremely close-range). I like the double-barreled shotgun idea for the PK, btw.

In the city locations it's a dirty weapon for sure. Its even more filthy weapon someone lands on one while you get a p2020 or alternator.

My bad. The videos now work lmao. I didn't realize that. But just watch them, this thread is comparing a crate weapon to a random pickup. Random pickups should be way below the damages of any crate weapon - ergo, NERF THIS POS.

You don't really have to be that close to your target. I lose to this gun with ranged weapons because they take my shield out in one shot, then take my health out in another. Add the fact this is a squad game and 3rd partying seems to be the only way people play - you got a PK tearing through you plus at the very least one other person hitting you. You can't even run away because one more shot from a PK and you're dead. I have had many people hide behind corners, charge the PK choke, pop up and end me. Like, BS. Even if you rush them, you close the distance and now even without it choked you're dead. Its just stupid you don't even have to aim with it.
With that said, the ONLY nerf I think this gun needs is a HUGE hip fire window. Now, if you hip fire, you HAVE to be super close to have all the projectiles hit. This is the breakdown I think it should be:
Hip Fire - HUGE box that only allows like 1-3 projectiles to hit you
ADS NO CHOKE - Now the hit box is shrunk to where it is now
ADS CHOKE - Normal behavior but max of 90 damage not 110.
The problem with this gun is nobody freaking aims. They always hip fire which allows them to move more easily, evade, and rush. Something I can't do with my Flatline or similar gun because I HAVE to ADS to hit my target at that range.
