Console healing equipment selector doesnt work

I died like many times this season because sometimes when I want to select a syringe it selects something else or doesnt select anything, it happened many times and I just died to this again today so I am pissed.

Anybody else had this problem?

Also reminder: when I am shooting my gun with my trigger fully pressed there needs to be a code to prevent the mistake of punching while shooting on controller... R3 is triggered everytime I shoot the L-star even tough I try to be careful.
