Free prize tracks are poor quality!
The main reason I liked playing events was to get legend set trackers, but Respawn have just given up putting in any effort to the free prize track & completely ignored putting any in for a while now...

I have stupidly spent a lot of time & money on this game over the years, the least they could do is stop making the game worse in several areas.
