Here we are again: 6 men on season 21

Good morning, my feedback from apex:

There have always been people who made 6/9 men, but in the last 3 seasons it's embarrassing. But can you do something decent about it other than give these idiotic people a few ridiculous ban days? They are ruining console gaming.

I hope for the worst so as not to have major disappointments.

PS: During the game, I also saw the revenant do the old wraith glitch where you teleported forward with the punch animation.
Rightly so when you don't have opposable thumbs and doing 6 men isn't enough.

  • @Art_Tippet They also team in Solos. They need to add a timer, (much like when you stay out of ring for too long), that kicks in after 30 or so seconds of not fighting.

This would have to only occur when:

    - Players are within a certain distance"
    - The players have looked at each other, but have not fired
    - Should also count players who "tag" another, but not kill them, (this is so the system doesn't see it as combat and then ignore the fact that they're working together)

What should happen when the timer starts to count down is the following:

    - ALL players who are deemed to be teaming starts glowing to ALL other players on the map until death. (Teaming is cheating and if you're going to cheat, you'll face the consequences)
    - If the teaming teams don't take each other out within the time limit, they all instantly die, (no exceptions!)
    - Due to teaming, all stats, including damage and kills, are nullified. This also sets any earned rank points to 0, and if they keep teaming, they get negative points

Basically, a system where players who team are forced to stop teaming, otherwise they'll lose.

The problem would then come down to teammates. Sometimes I get a random or two who team with another squad. In those instances, if I let the teaming happen, then I'd be at fault, if I shoot at the enemy players and treat them as enemies, the system should see that as a sign that one isn't teaming with the others. However, if teaming in general is harshly punished, then players should no longer be teaming in the first place.

Another problem would be times where a player has to run away and hide to either heal up or slowly rotate into the next zone. During this time, other players may run past them and thus trigger the system, however it would require the other player to look at the one hiding. If they just run by or not look near the person, the system should see that as one team passing by. In other words, both teams have to acknowledge the other and then do nothing to kill the other in order for the system to tick down, (ignoring the ones who damage each other over and over, without knocking or being active in a fight).

The reason why the system would have to ignore players who keep dealing some damage to others, even knocking one down, letting them get revived, and then not doing anything else, is because players would start pretending they're not teaming. Players would start to "avoid" each other, and make the system think they're unaware of each other and once it knows they're aware, the tagging would trick it into thinking they're fighting each other.

This sort of system I would love to see, however it requires a lot more thought than even what I've said.

    Hey @Art_Tippet,

Sorry you've had to run across this, as you're certainly not the only one.

Just as a heads up, I've removed the link from your post as this is not something we're able to address on the forums. Please instead report them by using the appropriate tools, the Other options > EA Help section would be the alternative to in-game reporting.
