How did charge rifle make it past QA

Seriously. Are you OK Respawn? Do you even have QA? Was this new weapon tested at all? It's absolutely stupid. The new map is lots of fun and the new season has mostly been awesome, but this weapo...

I think the charge rifle will 100% get a nerf in the future, most likely to fire rate and charge up time.

That being said, having a hitscan sniper in the game is exactly what this game needed, no other weapon in the game lets you harrass people from a serious distance so confidently. Generally I hate using the sniper scopes but for this weapon I'm actively searching them out.

@Cabowse Yeah, but that is exactly the problem, you shouldn't be able to harass people at range like that. I've lost count of the number of times I have been winning a close combat situation against another team and then a couple of spod weasels camping on a roof or cliff half a mile away suddenly ruin your chances of winning the fight. It's BS which rewards campers who don't push and just rack up kills on other players who are actually moving, pushing and fighting.
On top of that the beam blocks your view of what is going on close to you for a second at a time... making it hard to fight against cos the target is obscured. Something desperately needs to be done to make it more balanced and prevent Apex from becoming a game where half the teams camp with those things.

  @kartikins I think it will become balanced, as I mentioned I believe it will get a nerf in the future and I think it should. That being said it's a really enjoyable weapon to use at the moment and its rarity means you don't see it all the time, so it's not game breaking in my eyes.

    @Cabowse Yeah I don't want it removed, but I think is unbalanced atm... coming across quite a few teams who camp out on high areas with 2 or 3 of them simply poaching off other fights in the distance
    However there are a lot of ways you could nerf this weapon and I am rly not sure what would be the best option would be. Maybe even a damage drop off with range so you cannot interfere with combats going on miles away that you aren't directly involved in.
