Nerf The Mastiff or Care Package It

This is seriously getting highly annoying. Fought a console user who was always 5-15 meters away from me, and they can do god tier damage. I hit them with a Hemlok, and it doesn't do as much as this guy can do from ANY distance. This gun is one of the most cancerous guns out there, because its wide range, and apparently that means its also a sniper gun in the hands of console users since the game values their aim assist so much. What's the point in having purple armor, if someone can shoot you ONCE from 8 meters with a shotgun, and instantly gain complete and utter advantage over you?

@E9ine_AC Its dumb because whenever I use a Mastiff against others. It only does 13-27 damage from any range. The only time it does 100+ is if I aim it right at their head, and I'm close enough to smell their breath. Which is just like "???", yet console users, or those with aim assist, can do 100+ easily. Its pretty dumb.

@Midnight9746The other day I was literally 30m away and practically sniping people with a mastiff... I want it nerfed or gone too
aim assist dosn’t do 100+ easily, I average 12-27 with most of my shots occasionally 50 somethin and 70-80 ish up close rarely 100+
Edit: by ‘’sniping’’ i just mean taking like 27 ish hp per spam which adds up after doing it 4-5 times

@TheApexLegendNubWhen I say "aim assist", I usually refer to players using xim or like strike packs, because you can watch some of these "console" players, and see they move just like PC users, with added "skill".

I try to avoid complaining about guns, but the Mastiff is more broken than the Lifeline revive, which to me, isn't even an issue, as it is for some.

I just got headshotted from 30+ feet away for 28 damage. I know that doesnt sound like a lot but shotguns should do 0 damage at that range. The bullets shouldnt even hit you

@Tperodactyl Shotguns are meant for close range combat, and getting hit for more than 5 at that range shouldn't be a thing.

@Midnight9746 We were at the Cage. He was in the middle of it outside on the catwalk/walk path and i was down below in those little tunnel things with loot. That far away and 1 pellet does 28 damage. Hell a few seasons ago i was hitting people for like 40+ with a choked PK from 60+ feet away. Makes 0 sense

@Tperodactyl Thats honestly what I mean when I say to nerf the mastiff, I'm fine with it close range but it shouldn’t be a mid range sniper... thats also why horizon was so good last season

@Tperodactyl Oh really and what magic calculator did you unleash upon that.

IRL shotguns can hit over 125yards which is 375 feet so why on earth in a game should it do 0 dmg on 30ft.
