pathfinder passive ideas

pathfinder seems lackluster... in the end circle, his ult might get you a good position, but getting on a zipline near the enemy is often suicide. Plus, seeing where the future zones are, while not bad, is not something i typically care that much about.

This game is all about aggressive skermish combat.... his tactical is really strong in that respect, but the rest?

How about these alternative passive ideas...

1. he could always see the next circle (without towers), and use towers to *change* the next circle location... this would make his passive more of a real passive that he benefits from all the time, not just when he goes to the towers

2. he could "fold up" to get dmg and hit box reduction while zipping on ziplines (and possibly during his tactical) -- which would fit well with his ult and lore of swooping in for the kill - pretty useful all game long

3. he could take damage form the zone at a lower rate -- he is a robot after all

  • It's really hard to find a fitting passive for pathfinder, although i agree with your ideas i believe that if you were able to change the next zone location it would have those issues:

1- it's a balanced skill only if the next ring's position  were random, but again that seems bad because you could simply roll the furthest possible position from you, also if you change the ring's position other pathfinder could simply change it again.

I liked a lot of that zipline idea and i think that make him more resistant to the dmg zone seems kinda op because he already is the zone's greatest enemy.

He could use those towers for something else maybe, like healing himself since he is a robot. Or something as a loot scan idk, as i said, it seems really hard to find a fitting passive that wouldn't be so op but still as useful as others, also related to the character's theme.

  • How about a jump pack but not as good a titanfall 2's or just wallrun.
