Peacekeeper reload broken

Why is this the only gun that doesn't auto-reload when the clip is empty? I've lost multiple gunfights because I try shooting but nothing comes out and it doesn't reload. You could say "just check the ammo count" or "count your shots" but I'm more focused on either clutching for my squad or surviving an ambush. Seriously, this needs fixing.

    It's pretty annoying and today I had to reload it 3 times in a row before the ammo actually appeared in the gun, probably lag but auto-reload would have probably fixed that.
