Why would platform, third partying, or skill level have anything to do with this conversation?
For the record, I play on PC, I'm pretty good, and I've witnessed teaming up on one occasion (out of roughly a dozen matches).
If you queue at the same time as your buddy, and are geographically close, it doesn't seem unimaginable that you'd end up in the same match.
This is something respawn could easily mitigate with one additional rule in the match maker; don't queue people who are in each other's friends lists in the same solo match.

- @Kayn-x-Chavez People are teaming up with adversaries even in regular squad mode, it's just more noticeable in solos. Stop embarrassing yourself.

However, I'll elaborate in the hope that you might take my word in ernest.
My experience isn't born from a salty death in a hectic fur ball, indeed I didn't die to them at all.
I was camping with a sniper, and observed two players moving together across the map(broken bridges area), engaging & looting cooperatively.
I died a little time after while relocating into zone, my killer then died to zone, and I was left spectating the kill leader.
The kill leader's final fight was, to no great surprise, against the pair who were teaming.
He won thankfully.
- @Kayn-x-Chavez They literally are teaming up. I have a video of a full squad in a building camping in final circle, then another where a duo sniping together who killed me dropped all their gear and fist fought at the end. It isn't an illusion...
idk u guys must play in a dog server or console i've never seen something like that so..
@Kayn-x-ChavezIf they play on console - that's tens of millions of players in the same boat :/ Why would it matter if they're playing on console. Is your contention that people stacking up in teams in solo mode doesn't happen on PC?
If your personal experience of NOT seeing people teaming up in solos is valid, then their personal experiences of running into people teaming up has to be equally weighted, and there's more of them than you 😛I've seen this about 5 times so far on xbox today, which is far more than I would have expected.
