Is there is matchmaking in the late nights?
Is this confirmed info are your personal experience?
It sounds weird that with lesser people its easier to match people up.
It doesn't make sense.
It's been like that the last nights. I play with a low level Bloodhound (I also have a high level account) and I was for a few hours each night consistantly teamed up with players at the same level. And all enemies were at same level, easier to defeat, and we got a top 3 position several times. Obviously, many players have several accounts, it is kinda weird when a level 1 player with 0 kills, takes out 3 enemy teams alone, in a match. But very fun. And fair. Because you know you have a good chance at getting a good placement.
It's total random, I'm level 200+and still get randoms at level 3.... even 1.... they haven't been experimenting at all!
