Ranked grind against teamates?

I would love for someone to explain to me this ranked system cause so far I’m confused I think ur supposed to play matches and earn rp to place yourself with like players right well explain to me how this will happen when I get one good team to play a what I consider a normal match then 5 bad teams with crash test dummies and lose rp for 5 matches and end up right back where I started it’s like I’m either gambling or grinding against teamates seems to me if half my reports were answered most of them would be gone already u need to decide did u do this for the money and just go on and turn it into Fortnite or did u do this for gamers like me who have been gaming for over 20 years now and are loyal to the game

    You either have to ditch or carry them when you get bad teammates.

    Example scenarios:

    Case 1
    You are at diamond 4 and your teammates are plats from last season and they want to push a team with 1 pred and 2 masters trails, or a random team with a better position.
    In this case you will die 100% and lost 55 RP, unless you are smurfing or cheating. So you should just tell them to back off, and if they don't you should just run.

    Case 2
    Two other teams are landing in the same area, your jumpmaster lands on another team. Which will result in you get killed by the first team or killed by the third team. At this point it is not even worth to communicate. You should just leave them and run. Being bad and being stupid are a different things, those people are either stupid or just tilted by their previous game and just want to ruin your game.

    So your goal as a solo player should be the predict which teammates are good and which teammates are bad. As long as solo players and premade teams in the same pool you will always be at disadvantage.

    Splits reset ranks too much. Plats playing in silver leagues. Masters in plat/gold.
    This is depressing.

    Hey there! Some more expert feedback: You can literally NOT PLAY matches and rank up to gold in this game. Land anywhere where enemies don't then put your controller down and walk away until circle kills you. Repeat. Free ticket to gold. Maybe you'll find your mythical good teammates when you get there?
