Skill-based Matchmaking is mandatory for better player experience.

I was one of the people that believed everything was fine with matchmaking... until a couple of days later when you start seeing a CLEAR difference between the everyday joe that works and cannot play...

So the devs want their game to fail? There's a reason it's dropping HARD in terms of popularity.

Quite frankly i will say that most of the ideas of how the system should be are bad.... i didn't give a deeper answer idea of it before because well... I don't have the stats to point and i'm not paied to think.(a proper system would take a hell lot of work, keep in mind that kda and victories means nothing if you are stomping newbies, now if you lose barely to an top tier player that means a hell lot more)

With that said something needs/needed to be done. That's why i suggested splitting the player base in HUGE ranks based in level, it's not a good approach but it's better than the nothing we have.

But sadly as i said before Respawn didnt/will not make changes fast. And quite frankly they don't see too competent at that, i feel like the team that made the game moved on and we have interns now taking care of the game.

A company that says they are "careful" with the changes and introduce the bug of gilbraltar when adding the 5% damage reduction.... seriously you guys even test your own game?

    I play apex to have fun. If I don’t have fun, I don’t play Apex. It’s that simple. I am not a high skilled player and I have no aspirations to be one. I just want to have fun. If I play with players at my own skill level I have fun. I have good and bad matches, but I feel matched. It’s great.

    When I reached level 20 I was suddenly matched with much more skilled players, but I didn’t get any better myself. The game shifted. I had absolutely no place in any team. I was outmatched. The fun of the game disappeared instantly. It only took 3 hours of constant squashing to realize that this wasn’t a one-time matching, but that this would continue from now on. I don’t have fun being meat to better teams. I don’t belong there.

    I really like apex. It’s fast, it’s fun. I would even fork money over for the Battle pass, but not anymore and that is a shame.

    This game needs to accommodate and cater to both the hardcore and casual players. Games are about having fun. If it’s not fun, people will move on. Simple as that.
