Season 22 Nintendo Switch perspective

After your battle pass change announcement about a month ago, I was getting all geared up to uninstall the game. I'm glad that change has been reverted. The tasks to unlock the premium battle pass are relatively easy, which is nice. It's going to allow people to have a fair shake at getting it. There is some confusion however as part of it indicates that you need to complete six tasks, and in another breath it makes it look like only five are needed. Five are offered, so I'm hoping five is all it takes.

I like the elimination of flinch when being shot at. Keeps you in the game a little bit better.

I noticed the audio issue has gotten worse. Now on switch, it's extremely difficult to hear enemies approach, and jump scaring seems to be common. Having said that it's still performing at about 75% overall.

I hate Battle Royale. I always have. Having said that, I've tried the revival mode, and I must say, that this finally makes Battle Royale enjoyable. I like the fact that you can automatically respawn and you're deployed in close proximity to the rest of your team. It makes for a much more enjoyable experience, and I've actually found myself playing at 50% of the time on top of mixtape.

The akimbo weapons are disgusting! And I mean that without a trace of sarcasm and with the utmost sincerity. The amount of damage that you can do is truly spectacular. I am so pleased that this has been introduced into the game. Furthermore I like the fact that akimba weapons are an option in the weapon rotation in different mixtape modes.

I have not had a chance to see the new loot bins, including the gold and the red, even though I was alive to see a loot been respawn at the half point. Their placement must be rare indeed.

I don't think the new Shield is going to encourage lmg use, however since I have been known to pick up a spitfire, I'm sure this will be helpful.

It is rather refreshing, and wonderful to see new content being introduced into this game. I truly hope though, that quality of life improvements will continue, and identified issues will be rectified as soon as humanly possible.

I will say that the new UI for the battle pass is absolutely horrible. It is a little bit more challenging to see where you are, and the screen for that just seems to be a little too busy. I do however like how the challenges are sorted now. That makes reviewing a lot easier.

The health bars above the targets that are in closer range, at this point I'm 50/50. On one hand they are great, but on the other it seems as though it gives too much away on position and presents an overall disadvantage. It's a change I can accept on a permanent basis however, all I can say is I'm just not loving it at this point.

If we were to compare this to the last four seasons, maybe even five, this season's release is a 10 out of 10 by comparison. In reality overall, I would give this 8 out of 10. It would be higher if the audio wasn't having so much a problem.

There has been quite a few internal server errors on your part today, but rather than submitted as a bug report, I will wait and see if it just is Gremlins in the machine. If the problem persists I will submit a ticket in a few days.

The new map is absolutely gorgeous. I will say it's a refreshing challenge, since there's a lot more vertical space to work with compared to other maps. The opportunities for cover make for some very interesting battles. The color scheme, and the decor are visually stunning and well worth the wait in my opinion.

To be fair, had you indicated that this content was coming, before indicating that you were going to charge real currency for the battle pass, I think the community would have been more inclined to accept that. Having said that, I'm extremely glad that you reverted your decision that allows for purchase of the premium battle pass using Apex coin beginning split two. In my opinion, this allows the casual player clear goals, and something to grind in order to perpetually obtain the battle pass.

Where I will give you a 15 out of 10 score, is the fact that I finally saw a dive emote for my beloved Mirage. It is amazing, funny, and I can't wait to unlock it! Now, if we can restore his ability to actually go invisible when reviving a teammate, or engaging the ult, he would once again be a very well-balanced character.

Bot Royale it's a lot of fun. It's a great place to practice developing your game sense, etc. I just wish though, that you could change the level of difficulty. When you're at a level 1000, it's not very much of a challenge.

Keep up the good work. Overall I'd say this is a success
