Skill-based Matchmaking is mandatory for better player experience.

I was one of the people that believed everything was fine with matchmaking... until a couple of days later when you start seeing a CLEAR difference between the everyday joe that works and cannot play...

I also want ranked.

There are some indication they are working on it....

And even though they are probably not going to say anything, it would be nice to have some sort of announcement...

At any rate I am already starting to think I might put this game on hold until skill based match making is implemented...

BTW was Overwatch ground breaking in that regards? I haven't seen any other FPS game that has skill based match making!

If such is the case, I fear the industry will be / is a tad slow to follow....

Thanks! About OW, I don't know, I stopped playing that game a whiiiiiiiiiile ago so I can't say but I'm pretty sure it did have a matchmaking system otherwise it would have flopped quite fast as it's similar to a moba in that regard (as in one team stomping the other makes up for boring gameplay for the winners and frustrating gameplay for the losers).
