I directly understand the benefits of aim assist while using a controller, i also understand now how hard it is to learn mouse & keyboard. It feels odd watching someone with a controller just lazer someone, but doesn't know how to do basic things, but can aim this good.There is another way that controllers and mouse & keyboard players could play together. You can have aim assist only work on people who have it enabled. For example the aim assist wouldn't do anything towards a mouse player, but also wouldn't work on a controller user who doesn't have aim assist enabled. Only players who have it active get to have it.

I am actually 100% against using controllers on a pc platform. It is unfair game play for those of us on mouse and keyboard who get no assistance with aim. Why play on pc if not getting the real experience from the pc gaming? I dont wanna hear omg i played on console my whole life its all i know. Well at one point you didnt know itand adapted. At one point we was not good with keyboard and mouse and adapted. If cant play with true pc parts then go back to console as far as im concerned. We want true pc players not aim assist controller users having that slight advantage over all.

I don't think aim assist should be in any video game, just makes people lazy mindless zombies. I don't get why people would want to play a shooter, but have something do the aiming for them?But with all that above, i still would be okay to play with controller users, just they need to make it so i don't get aim assisted while i'm using my mouse. I also played more Apex on PC with a controller, but didn't have a clue it was this easy to aim with. That is half my point, they (Respawn) made me lazy by adding aim assist, so i felt okay using a controller on PC vs people who didn't have it.In my opinion, i don't think personal computers means directly mouse & keyboard. It's personal to each and every user. I just don't a personal device should affect someone else at the end of the day. Aim assist helps on, but hurts another. @SpyrosFPS If you use a controller without aim assist, mouse and keyboard will always provide better aim potential. But I understand your point.The problem is that aim assist is just too powerful, and easily outranks even the above average keyboard/mouse user.

Haha, I like the idea of just randomly turning it off without notifying anyone.
It would be very easy to show pro streamers suddenly missing all their shots, and struggling to play anywhere near as good as they used to.
And it would be extremely valuable to assess the effectiveness of Aim assist.
(Although needless to say, its extremely effective)

At the launch of Apex there were threads and many replies about players who want native M&K support on console to aim better.
Also, there are threads about cheaters who use M&K on console and they still complain about that.
They still ask for native M&K support.

Suddenly many players moved to Pc i guess for Tournaments, Private lobbies, less crashing(ps4)
and Pc Users are saying that controllers are overpowered.
I'm confused! Is M&K or Controller better? 🤣

@4ccbf460f7b926b1 Restricting controller players to play against players on console would instantly give them an advantage in FOV. Which means getting sniped/g7 spammed across the map. Aim assist is NOT as strong as you think, all it does is stop the fights feeling awkward as hell when using a controller.

So you're telling me a controller with aim assist beats a keyboard with a variety of DPI and 101 keys? I've played on PC before, it still feels awkward as hell trying to fight. It is a little "off" when you use a controller on PC because it wasn't really made for PC like you said.
