A buff for Crypto is now confirmed although it seems that it may take a while, They also said that they are looking for a fitting ways to make him a better character and that they are discussing him, I have some ideas which I believe they will make Crypto a lot better while keeping him balanced and maintaining his lore:1- Passive (Cryptic data): Crypto is invisible to scans, drones and threat optics. Will not leave clues behind.Passive (Identity thief): Finishing or scanning downed enemies would highlight their teammates for 5s.Passive (Enhanced senses): Enemies traps & deployables are highlighted in 50m area around Crypto and his drone.2-Reduce throwing the drone animation time, Reduce the animation time even more if the drone is already out , Increase drone health to 50 HP, The drone receive bonus HP when it is stationary. Add a bar that shows the drone HP to Crypto and the drone HUD. Reduce cooldown to 35s.3-EMP makes shield recharging items take twice as long to apply, glitch enemies HUDs, Disable their ability to ping and their maps show Crypto logo instead for 20s. Launching EMP form drone should show how much damage it inflicted, Where the effected enemies are and their body shield levels (for some reason this is only possible if you EMP then switch back to Crypto), Crypto receive reduced effect by his own EMP.

why should you be able to 1 shot it?it's actual hitbox is enormous if you think you should be able to 1 shot the drone then I think the drone's hitbox shouldnt be the size of a cow. I literally never play crypto btw.

@Alphabets If I am to give the drone an ability then I would make it about Crypto awareness about his surroundings.

@Eurlannd G7 and Wingman can one shot it.

I shot it with a G7 and it took 3 bullets to break it. G7 can do it in one shot, yet it took 3. That's a problem.

I love these ideas. As a Crypto main myself, I really know that these changes will help and make him a more successful Legend.

Also in all of Crypto finishers, He steals the identity of his enemies so here is an idea for an additional passive (Identity thief): Scanning or finishing downed enemies would reveal their teammates location for 5s.

@SERPENT_DESCEND I like your passive idea, he is already vulnerable whilst using a drone so being scanned can be prove fatal.
I also like the idea of the tactical launching quicker, a health bar would be cool too but it's a non priority really, it's hp is fine as it is as well to be honest.
100% agree that crypto shouldn't be effected by his own EMP, I've been requesting he gain immunity to it for a long time now. However I don't think it needs further buffs, you can potentially hit massive amounts of damage depending on how many people are in range of the ult, further buffs would make it pretty overwhelming to be honest especially since you can track enemies exact locations by seeing where the shield damage markers pop up.

@MandatoryIDtag The health bar would be very beneficial. It's purpose it to recall your drone as soon as you see it decreasing and thus it will save you from going through the drone cooldown. An alternative to that is to make the drone warns Crypto through alarming sound once an enemy is aiming at it. With that being said Crypto definitely needs more to his ult than just gaining resistance to it.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on his ult. A slowing effect+50 damage to anybody in its radius seems pretty damn powerful to me lol.
It's literally bangalores ult with a precise controlled AoE and much greater hit rate.
The reason I said the hp bar is a non priority issue is due to the fact in reality you're not going to be paying much attention to crypto's drone hp when you're not in it...unless you're sat there staring at your own drone, which if we're honest means you're either playing extremely passively or not paying attention to the fight at hand.
It would be pretty cool in the drones HUD, but with the amount of hp it has odds are if you're taking fire it's going to be destroyed before your recall sequence completes anyway.

@MandatoryIDtagBangalore ult isn't even comparable to Cryptos, Her ult covers a larger area, Potentially deals much more damage than 50 (to both health and shield) if placed correctly, And the slow effect lasts much longer than the EMP, Also Crypto EMP is completely avoidable by destroying the drone. Once you EMP a team then try to push them, They would have mostly already recharged their shields. Given the fact that you need to stay away from your EMP so it won't effect you. Also why wouldn't I pay attention to the drone HP bar? The drone is Litteraly the only thing Crypto relies on.
