Try to reduce your infight time. If you are fighting more than 3 to 5 minutes, you can be sure to get third partied. The position on the map is also very important and if the map gets smaller and smaller and a lot of squads still alive than the chance to get third partied increased.

And let me add, that you need to know the map perfectly and where is the place where there is always going to be people and more than 1 squads.
This is important stuffs, and map awareness need to be on high if you want to play on high level.
