Wattson tactical buff

Passive idea:

Regenerate 1.75 fences per second

Tactical idea:

-(Maxium 18 fences)

-Longer radius

-One side of the fence is harder to see through

She will be a little more offensive now

@AdendonThey mentioned adding a toggle for her fences in season 9 to make her more fun without adding too much power but there was nothing in the patch notes so either it was scrapped or may come at the mid season update or possibly even season 10

I like the idea for them to be invisible but permanently visible after they are initially triggered, and I agree the range should be slightly increased because her fences have way too large of a cooldown without her ultimate considerring she needs 2 fence nodes to do anything... imo fence node cooldown should be closer to 10-15 seconds for that reason

Caustic’s Gas trap takes roughly 20 seconds so Wattson’s Fence node should take 10 seconds, caustic can place 6 and get one every 20 while wattson needs to place 12 so simple math she should get one every 10 seconds... I often find myself standing by a door for 20 seconds waiting on the other half of my tactical and I can’t be the only one who has that problem

note: I just realized wattson’s nodes have a THIRTY SECOND COOLDOWN are you kidding me?!?!?No wonder i have to stand there and wait so long... im not wasting an ultimate accelerant for one single fence piece... Im honestly mad now her cooldown would be terrible at 20 seconds but thirty?!?

Wattson has never been overpowerred imperialhaul said it himself, wattson was never too strong everyone just copied TSM or NRG whoever was doing it first, between that and the wattson simps like me are the only reason wattsons played except for fun, Ive always wanted to see her as a good legend but ever since her ultimate was nerfed shes been trash

According to 10 secs:
4 slots is 40 seconds without the ultimate
1 min and 20 secs for all the 12 nodes to be placed
Without the ultimate
The ultimate would be use less then ( get what I'm saying)
24 nodes would be 2 min and 40 secs without the ult.
But 24 nodes is ult worth for such a short time.

According to 15 secs:
15 secs is worth the time, but 24 fences is why u would put down the ult. That'll make up for her passive.

Did u skip over the shield regenerate eh dont worry every person who uses Wattson says she needs an upgrade.

@XLnarratorShield regeneration is overrated, combined with her ultimate its decent but without it you barely even notice it

She shouldn’t need her ultimate just to use her tactical, thats her biggest downfall because no other legend requires an ultimate just to use their abilities... I don’t agree that she needs 24 nodes because I have a hard enough time placing 12 of them... it would give her more range to cover but wouldn’t solve the issue on how weak and easily destroyed her fences really are once your ultimate is destroyed they are pretty useless and most of the time they only work at the top of zip lines because any other time the enemy just destroys them 

4 slots in 40 seconds doesn’t sound broken at all considerring 2 slots are needed to complete a fence so 1 tactical every 20 seconds except for the case where you may connect a 3rd fence

Wattson ideas they need:

10 sec node placement.

-On the front side of Wattson fence it should be 20% harder to see through.

-Longer Radius.

The Ultimate should supply more defense and recharge.

@XLnarratorThe shield regen is a nice touch but I agree that it was not anywhere near the buff she actually needed

The ultimate doesn’t need a complete rework because it’s honestly the best part of her whole kit to block grenades, ultimates, etc and to recharge her fences quickly, I just want a lower cooldown because of how long it takes to actually be able to set up her fences without the use of her ultimate... during season 2 you never had that issue because the ultimate was unlimited so you didn’t have to choose when was the best time to use it but now it only lasts for 90 seconds and after that change happened everybody gave up on wattson and now her pick rate is like 2% according to a video I just watched a few minutes ago

The reason it is an issue is that after your ultimate expires you will instantly get grenade spammed or hit by fuse tactical and now that fuse is getting 2 tacticals wattson will be even more useless, it takes a good amount of time to set up 12 fences only for them to be destroyed in literally 2 seconds... at the very least they could use a health point buff similar to rampart’s shields

I know ur saying she was really good with an unlimited pylon. Devs thought it was a little OP. I think that's a lil OP.
I say create her fences properly and since the unlimited time doesn't work, Rework it

Agree on the invis fences. I'm very new and purchased the game just to play Wattson after watching some character overviews. So far it appears that most folks don't care about the fence a all, or just go around. There appear to be many entry and exit ways everywhere so it's not like if you see a fence, your world comes crashing down in despair.
