Pretty sure this question was answered early on as Bloodhound is one of the original legends:
They identify as agender, hence the EA website and devs in interviews using they/them pronouns, even going so far as to correct themselves when they use a gendered term at times.it is not because their identity is unknown. Wraiths real name and identity is unknown. But she presents and identifies as female. Rather the opposite seem to be the case. They keep their ID unknown, at least in part due to being agendered.
