when my enemy is clearly in my crosshair at cqb my bullets do no damage.
I'm aiming on point but my shots do no damage. Any help is appreciated.

he is saying you have to lead your bullets and aim to where the person is going to be corresponding with the trvel time of the bullet. you do the same thing with snipers only with the normal weapons its way less than that
Aaagh right so if running straight at you no props but running left to right aim ahead /leed you're shot.
I'll give it a go but I had some one 4 foot in front of me and my aim was bang on 4-5 shots no damage they the shot me twice and melted me I guess I need to strafe more when aiming.

- I find that the bullet travel time is very very slow. Even for close ranged kills (10m) I have to lead probably half a metre in front of my target. They’re not even sprinting.
