Why 1000 apex coins is the least amount I can buy?

Right now I have 850 ac which means I'm only 100 ac short to buy the battlepass and spending 10 bucks to buy 1000 ac is stupid when I need only 100. Warzone gives you the choice to buy 100 cod points...

Just get the 4.99 Pack from the store. It comes with 600 coins. Can only be purchased once and Revenant's is ending soon.

Another 600 coin pack is coming when Season 5 is live I assume.
