Why did apex do this -_-

So apex really screwed up with this recent update and I hope it gets fixed. Why have 2 ranked matches where in one of then you don't even get a rank. For some people that may not know, Apex has changed regular mode into a ranked match basis, meaning you are gonna fight high ranked people. So instead of having fun and playing they made it to the point where all my friends and everyone I know want to quit the game. I hope you people put it back to the way it was instead of making it worse 😒
