@Palette24carats It's totally insane and yeah, I've heard about the bugged Rookie thing yesterday, however I'm still seeing players after the patch with Rookie IV as their last season rank, so I don't know what to really believe, and some players who's stats I've looked up on a stat tracker also shows they were in the Rookie rank. Although stat trackers can only gather so much data due to a limited API.
At the very least, there's still high ranked players shown via their rank badges, so that's the issue now.

Assuming the rank icon is now "fixed", both my teammates are diamonds in a silver/gold lobby. If they were plat, that would be one thing. Since they're both much higher than this lobby, it tells me that SBMM still doesn't exist.
Furthermore, this was the enemy team that killed us, a masters Wraith and Pathfinder, and the Horizon isn't shown because they have no badges or stat trackers shown, and the "last rank" only said Rookie IV like how it does for Wraith and Pathfinder.
Respawn has killed ranked when they changed it for season 13 and they might as well remove the gamemode if they really don't want to fix the matchmaking.
@Midnight9746Your diamonds derank by 12 tiers... just like I said in my previous post they didnt play for a split and ended up Gold 4. This could be either because they didnt play or it's their rank smurf that they didnt play for 2 splits with. This rank doesnt make any sense and no matter what we say they don't even listen.
- @Palette24carats It says in season 14 they were diamonds. They didn't drop by waiting through splits.
- @Midnight9746 Yes they could. If they reach diamond 4 in split 1 season 14 then they demote to gold 2 for split 2 still get a diamond badge for season 14 and demote to silver 4 for season 15. They play a few days to get gold 4
