Aftermarket event and cross-play discussion thread

@Goodnite_Midnite They said previous seasons it wouldn't happen but this snippet at the end is reason for hope in the future i imagine. 

• Cross-play does not mean cross-progression. While we do believe this is a valuable feature, it’s unfortunately not available for Apex Legends at this time. However, we will talk more about this at our Steam launch later in the year.

Just don't get your hopes up to high just yet.

@EA_David it all sounds great, the new ltm is imaginative and I can't wait to play it. Wraiths new skin, miaow...😃   and from the sounds of things a massive update on the way with lots of qol improvements.

But this bit sounds a bit worrisome to me (if I understand it right) if I on xbox choose not to go against pc players, as playing late at night is already problematic.

This has a high chance of making your queue times very very long, as we anticipate that most users will have cross-play enabled given its default state of ‘enabled’ and the requests for the feature from so many players. We highly recommend leaving cross platform play enabled to ensure the best experience possible."

Yeah, imagine...but last season we got mirage’s heirloom and we got stat trackers voor Lifeline and Loba, so don’t get your hopes up as they don’t intend to suit the trackers to the one that gets the heirloom that current season.

Pretty weird if you ask me...

I’m turning cross platform play off, I don’t care how long I have to wait....and truthfully after people experience it, there won’t be any wait at all

@BaldWraithSimp lol I miss typed, I had read your previous comment, I meant ps players (and I'm presuming switch and mobile when they come along).
