Apex Crashes If I Go over 149 FPS...Direct X 12 Issue?

Ever since the direct x 12 update, I can't play apex at max mode, I have it capped at 149fps

If I set it to unlimited or 200 fps it will freeze when the game gets intense, which was never an issue prior to switching to direct x 12

i have a intel 12900 and a 3080

When I say it crashes, well it freezes, so I have to close down using task manager

Could it be my computer issue or is it a apex issue
