Interesting. It seems logical, on the face of it. We have a few PS5 guys here. I'll tag @hayhor for one.
I'm interested in hearing your takes. Not really in your opinions about the idea of lowering the aim assist strength, but your observations of whether the enhanced video performance from next gen is enough for any such change to make sense, as it does for PC.
@pandareno1999 The 60 fps is certainly pretty stable and the rendering distance seems better, so I mean there is a notable performance difference between ps4/ps5.
Now when we look at the reality of the matter which is that not everyone in the PC community is running top spec setups then yeah, I would say next gen consoles are probably are on par with what the average PC user is running in terms of hardware.
Lowering AA to 0.4 isn't that a huge leap anyway speaking as somebody who has played every AA strength setting available.
