Are Free Apex Coins legal and do they work?

I'm just wondering if these websites are working, but most importantly if they are legal, where you have to enter a username and then the website says it would give free Apex Coins to this username.

@MatoruMT If it is not sponsored by EA them self it is a scam. Only purchase from people they endorse or themself.
