Ban Not Showing Up in My Ban History

About 4 days ago I was banned. I appealed the ban to which EA responded that I violated the TOS or broke the User Agreement. I reviewed both and have not violated any TOS or broken the User Agreement. I was convinced that there was an error from EA's side or my account was hacked. I checked My Ban History to attempt to get more information regarding why I was banned but my ban is not showing up in My Ban History. I did receive an email from EA stating that I was banned, and I also cannot enter any games, so the ban is definitely there, but it is not showing up in My Ban History.

EA replied to my appeal stating that they investigated the ban and decided that they had made the correct decision in banning me, however, they did not give me any information as to why I was banned. I emailed EA again asking why I was banned and they replied that they investigated my ban for a second time and they still stand by their decision to ban me as I violated the User Agreement however they cannot provide information about why I was banned because they said that they are "unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures".  They then said that since they investigated twice they will be closing my case.

I strongly believe that there has been a mistake but I cannot discuss anything further with EA as they refuse to give me any details about my ban and they have closed the case on my appeal.

So I basically got banned and EA said that they are not allowed to tell me why. And my ban is still nowhere to be seen in My Ban History.

  • You will need to speak to our Terms of Service team @Terribyte_ZA.

    As it states on the ban page, not all bans will be displayed there.

    1. Click Contact us at the top of any page on EA Help.
    2. Select the game that your account was banned or suspended from. If it’s on your whole EA Account, choose Origin.
    3. Choose your platform.
    4. Select Manage my account, then Banned or suspended account.
    5. Fill out any other details below.
      • For example, if you picked Origin, it might ask you if you are accessing the game through an Origin Access membership.
    6. Click Select contact option.
    7. Sign in to your account that has the ban or suspension, if you aren’t already.

    As I have stated twice in my original post, I did contact the TOS team and they refused to give me any information about why I was banned. They then told me that they would no longer reply to any emails I sent them about the matter. I do not see how a company can be held accountable for mistakes they may have made if they are not willing to discuss the actions that they have taken toward their customers. They gave me no opportunity to determine if my account was hacked or if perhaps a background app I had running on my computer while playing Apex was mistaken as software used to cheat.

    Hey @Terribyte_ZA if our TOS team have declined your appeals then there is nothing that we can do to change this on AHQ.
