@ArchAngeL-PCX Trainyard does need a good nuking though. The loot is terrible and the layout is deeply annoying.
@Gabrielmojo26 I disagree. The overwhelming majority on most media platforms, that i have seen, dislike this update (including this miniscule forum) and i'm not talking about devs twitter accs where those that speak against such things can be removed/censored or those streamers who have a track record of giving positive feedback even when the changes have been bad. This can be comments here, youtube, facebook, reddit, the list goes on and a lot of people are saying the same thing.
No one can argue the audio is atrocious from footsteps, abilities and gunfire and it's getting worse each patch. You know what makes that problem worse? TTK. In and of itself it wouldn't be an issue but with the many problems this game already has ttk has made this change painful.
I also disagree with not catering to a specific player base. They have a proven track record of reducing the skill ceiling, for nerfing or removing movement and such that took time to truly master, reducing recoil, delaying abilities and a host of other things that will give those both on other platforms when crossplay introduced a chance and newer players not as easily being outplayed, again, just like ttk.
Some of my best moments of Apex has been getting 3rd or 4th partied, making some clutch plays and coming out on top but now i must get nearly 1000 damage just to equal to the buffer i had fairly easily previously. Everyone keeps say, it's ONLY 25hp and at endgame this is true but the whole match leading up to that point i am at a severe disadvantage, especially playing with randoms who mostly struggle getting that kind of damage in a whole match anyway. So i must now slow my pace and charge it at crafting station increasing my time out of action and reducing the fun i'm having. Also, this update feels very rushed just by things like the gold armour which apparently didn't get much thought, which is pretty useless compared to charging up standard evo..
If this was just an LTM then i would be fine but to totally change the way this game has been played and enjoyed for the past year and a half to now have a very similar feel to other competitors takes away from Apex what made it unique and set it apart from everything else BR.
All opinions are my own as someone who has well, well over 1000 wins, playing all seasons and keeping up with the best of them. I don't need ''some pro'' to tell me what i do and don't like (as i have spoken out against streamers opinions plenty in the past on here) even if, on this occasion, i do agree with them.

That is most likely what you choose to see. Most polls are 50/50, you either like S6, or you don't. I haven't seen many in between, and to be fair, will a silent majority flock to socials and express complete love for the update? Of course not, as they're busy playing.
Another interesting one was, if you're a mediocre player, does S6 help you in anyway, 90% of the polls result (granted it's a very flawed result) said they're still mediocre, and simply die quicker lol

This obviously isn't representative of the player base and i agree some have shown up to voice thier opinion being unhappy with the changes but a lot of people are on these forums anyway and not many have spoken out to support it except a handful, including yourself and (not to compare with you in any way) a troll that tells everyone they're crying and git gud with nothing to really back up his view. I discussed it with him and anyone can go read the comments in the second link.
A mediocre player who has line of sight against a far superior player has a better chance of downing him now before he has much time to react. This is why i mentioned things like audio previously as the problems multiply.
@Gabrielmojo26 you going to back up your statistics by linking where you're getting your poll data from? I'd like to see the data too.
