I mean, there is a report option for "Inactivity" so YOU could say that it's not intended to simply go sit in a corner and be afk for an entire game.

Besides, if you want to look at the wall enitre match, at least do it with 2 of your friends. Not everybody wants to camp only to die the first fight they get into, some people know the risks of taking most fights and are willing to take them.

And to not have a teammates is already a big downside in standard BR or any mode for that matters but for ranked? It's even worse.

I’m not saying the game isn’t advertised or wants people to not rat. But it is the way it is designed and Respawn has proven not to want to change it, or will take years to. There’s a huge gap between the commercials for this game and the way it plays.
