If I get to diamond in ranked and then I continue to play and don’t finish in diamond when the season ends will I still get the diamond rewards because I got to diamond or do I have to finish in diamond?
Once you reached Diamond, you cannot de-rank to lower level anymore so you will stay as diamond at end of season and will get the diamond reward (TBD) when Season-4 start (Feb 2020).

So I can’t derank back to plat? Because I’m 2703 right now.. just barley in diamond. So if I play a game won’t that put me back into platinum because of the entry fee?

Previous season Predator ranked players did NOT get Diamond dive trail on top of the Predator trail, and the Diamond trail was frankly a lot nicer than the predator trail.
They likely listened to feedback and will have different dive trails this season, something icy for Dia, and something fiery for Pred. So it might be worth to climb to Diamond 1 and get close to promoting to Predator and then just camp that rating and wait for the dive trail reveal video that should come out soon so you still have to option to stick with the Diamond trail if you prefer the aesthetics instead of the predator trail.
