People quitting in non-ranked mode may be stupid, but I don't think there should be some rule about it like in ranked.
On the other hand, you should not get credit for playing a game or anything else from that match until your death box times out. It's the worst thing that Apex allows you to load up to the jump ship, and gives you credit for playing a match.
Don't get a game credit, don't get credit for anything else you do if you decide to quit before you go gray. You quit, that's fine, you don't deserve a reward for it.
