So I didn't mean to come off as trashing a new legend. I've read some of the posts and appreciate the guidance others have given
Rampart is interesting but lends too deeply to the 3rd party sniper camping meta that should have never been pandered to
Crypto is a character that I constantly make fun of but he is my 1st choice when I'm in duos and my teammate doesn't generate and I'm forced to solo
Fuse is a fast paced, aggressive and tactically rewarding toon to play. My point was I wish his grenade passive had a little better fine tuning as some other things in the current season but I guess time will tell in the next hotfix
I actually had a LOT MORE fun and success with Fuse tonight. I've done more damage/knocks with his tactical and ultimate on average than any other legend by some way. Firing the knuckle cracker through a window where people are is a lot of fun. I also completely obliterated Rampart's amped cover in one game. Dropping the ult as a third party is also a lot of fun.
We also had a squad pinned down in the bunker as the ring approached. BH kept opening the door and I would zip a couple of nades in then he would close it again. We obliterated them.
I can't wait to see how his abiltiies work in less open maps than KC.
Best moment of all was when it was Us v Them and I saw a Rampart ressing Horizon. I fired the Knucklecracker right at Horizon's head ... and out popped DOC as I'd forgetten a TM had got Fuse before me and I had gone for LL. We still won though.
Not missing Mr Murder-Bot at all ...
- @EdwardDLuffy Heh all new legends shine like no other first week or two of being launched. He hasnt been learned on how to counter him yet. So people dont know how to respond with him around or counter him so a lot times he will come out on top. Once more understand him better then he will be countered easily.
I personally find nothing appealing about him. His cluster should of been stun/flash bangs. His ult needs its circle reduced smaller so teams can stop just chilling in the circle not being touched.- @E9ine_AC Ah, you may be right but ... chilling in the circle not being touched? How about the nades, arc stars and thermites I'm flinging at them? :D
I haven't swiped a squad yet with the ult/nades combo, but I have double-knocked at least three times.- @EdwardDLuffy Ive had that wall fire around me prolly 18 times not a single time did it ever touch me or worry me. All you got do is stand behind the object your next to and wait for it to burn out. haha
