Played an apex elite match and having a good time in the match, suddenly out of nowhere the zone starts shrinking. Trying to outrun the ring, it just one shot me from full health to zero and annihilated the whole squad. Is it a bug or something? Or this patch suck.
That's what was changed... and if ring does more damage then it must be a bug.
Yeah, but I was in the game for only 6 mins and it shouldn't directly 1 tick you from full health. Probably its a bug.
Must have been a bug. The ring is a bit more damaging but not anywhere like what you experienced. It doesn’t feel like 15-25% DMT - feels more like 15-25% stronger than regular.

I field tested, and can confirm that it's actually 15 to 25% of your total health.
Not 15 to 25% stronger than normal mode values.
