Hack/Banned

I logged onto my account on Wednesday to discover that my account was banned. This came at a complete shock to me since I have done nothing to get banned. What I believe happened is that my account was hack and someone cheated on it. What leaves me to believe this is that I was at a higher rank and had unopened loot boxes. I am not a hundred percent sure how they got onto my account but I think it is because I did not have double verification on my origin account.

I have already submitted a ticket but it seems like it may take to long based on what other people are saying if you do not attempt multiple means of getting your account un-banned. The first person I talked to basically made me feel like I actually did cheat and deserved the ban so I am getting pretty frustrated.

Based on my situation can someone tell me how long this process takes and or if I am actually SOL with my account? I would also like to say I am willing to give any info needed to support personal to prove I did not in fact cheat.

Same here dude,
played a several games in season 7 before i took a brake.
On Monday i loaded about 40gb wich included season 8. After i started the que it sayd that my account is banned.
I guess they dont care and dont even bring any proof. It´s really sad in my opinion, spend about 500 euro since release...

@Last_RC @ChrisVanEhre Hey welcome to AHQ! Unfortunately AHQ (the forum) won't be able to do much for you on the ban. You will need to contact the EA TOS department, they are the only teams who can review bans and reverse them.

Please only submit 1 ticket, and wait for a response. I have heard they are receiving an unusually high number of appeals, so it might take a few weeks to get a response. They will respond it just takes time for them to review everything and respond.

If your initial appeal is denied, then you can submit a second appeal.

Keep an eye on your emails spam and junk folder, just to make sure you do not miss any communication from the EA TOS department.

@Last_RC You're not SOL there have been quite a few threads recently of players getting their accounts back. The TOS Department is having to deal with a high number of appeals at the moment, so it might take a few weeks for you to get a response, they will respond and they will not ignore your request/appeal.

Trust me they are well aware of the issue and it's not being ignored.

Just sucks because I spent money on the battle pass and now I cant make progress on it. If they are seeing such high amount of cases you would figure they would make a mass solution for it.

Still waiting for a response back about my account its now been over a month since I put in my ticket. Does EA actually care about their customers? I am about to be done with EA products for ever after this, not that EA cares about one customer.

@ChrisVanEhre Has this been resolved for you? I am still waiting, talked to some tech support and they told me they escalated my case but that reset my time because I called to ask what is going on.

@Last_RC Hey there. Try messaging the EA Twitter or Facebook pages. Tell them your name char name and ticket number and ask if its close to being looked at. Also tell them how long you have been waiting.

Yeah wonder why they are receiving an unusual high amount of appeals, they are banning people left and right because of some data leak. I too was hit by a random ban after personal inactivity. This is frustating to say the least, and everywhere you guys are just throwing out the same old forums copy and paste *.

@v0ke1337 Yeah I don't understand how they can just ban people so easily then take forever to respond. My friend said the person that hacked it showed that they played somewhere in china, I guess it shows that in the clan thing...
