Hacked account banned

Hi please help. I got an email saying that I had logged onto my account. This wasn't me and so I went on and changed my password. By the time I changed my password it was obviously too late as someone had played fifa on my profile and used cheats so I received the banned email? I haven't even played Xbox in I don't know how long but our Xbox was stolen about a year ago so I assume it was from that. Please help?

  • Hey welcome to AHQ! Unfortunately AHQ (the forum) won't be able to do much for you on the ban. You will need to contact the EA TOS department, they are the only teams who can review bans and reverse them.

    Please only submit 1 ticket, and wait for a response. I have heard they are receiving an unusually high number of appeals, so it might take a few weeks to get a response. They will respond it just takes time for them to review everything and respond.

    If your initial appeal is denied, then you can submit a second appeal.

    Keep an eye on your emails spam and junk folder, just to make sure you do not miss any communication from the EA TOS department.

    @DarthValtrex well I had the same problem "hacked account got banned" and I already contact the EA TOS department,still no response in one month

    Hi folks, 

    I spotted a few mentioning it's been a while (3-ish weeks) since you've sent in the report and haven't heard back yet. From what we can see here, reports from other players on the forum suggest that the average response time is indeed quite long at the moment and it may take a while before you hear back from the Terms or Service team. Once they have received your case and completed their investigation into the ban, they'll reach out to you via email from this address: noreply@ea.com.

  • I wish you good luck because at this time i am almost waiting 2 months now, for any information about my FIFA account that has been banned.

    I never had played or downloaded the game (yet) and i can see it was downloaded somewhere in Russia. I cant read the language its downloaded in. and yet I'm still waiting for any response. I also tried to get some information about progress. It started by getting an email that says i am banned from previous now and new coming titles in the FIFA franchise When i noticed the email i contacted immediately the costumer support.

    The guy on the chat was very helpful and did everything he could. We also did a full reset on my account.
    He also told me that it could take some weeks to fix it. What already is a long time by my understanding.

    After a month waiting i thought it it would be a good time to make contact again to see if there is any new progress. But i had to found out that the chat button magically disappeared, and couldn't use the chat function anymore to get in contact with the support. So i decided to try and call them by phone. This time i got a female at the phone who couldn't speak English very well so that was one obstacle but was do-able. After i asked how long it could take she just answered i don't know you have to wait some more. but im still paying for something i cant use. she then started to be hostile towards me and said: "that it was my own fault that i got hacked. and that its my responsibility that I'm not" 
    I get it that its a bad situation what nobody wants. but I think its not fair to say this to a paying customer that already is in the community for 10 years now.
    But yeah bad support peoples happen to come by sometimes.

    So one week ago i tried again to contact the EA Help support but now by twitter maybe i get an reaction then.
    You can guess. did i get a reaction till today? nahh still nothing. and I'm still blocked.
    On the EA Help ticket it still says its in progress. After almost 2 months this is unbelievable. 

    So i really wish you guys who are still waiting the best.
    Maybe someone here reads it from EA and can help me out a bit, this is getting annoying.
