How many matches did it take you all to get your first Win in S13 Ranked?Just curious, it took me 26 matches or about 6hrs.

@Asmodeus566Most definitely! I haven't played much ranked the last few seasons, but I decided to go ahead and grind this season so I can get a good feel for the new changes. The more I play, I am noticing things that could definitely use some tweaking, but I completely agree that it is a step in the right direction. Your other thread about possible changes was a great read, and well thought out! Props for putting that all together

@Asmodeus566 My 2nd or 3rd match was a win, but I haven't played ranked in a while, so I was Bronze IV, which doesn't really count, Lol

My first match netted me good KP 4K+3A and second place finish my final 1v2 did not work out.
The climb is slow though.

@Asmodeus566 Oh, don't even ask about my first match, Lmao!! It was a terrible, 14+ placement

I've definitely noticed I am climbing the ranks slower than when I used to play ranked, but I like it. I'm only up to Silver so far, but that is mostly due to not having a whole lot of playtime the last week. I've only gotten in a few nights for a couple hour session. Hoping to have more time this week, and get up to Gold by Friday. My personal goal is Diamond (genuinely don't think I am master-level), but it all depends on whether or not I can fit in enough playtime

I know we seem to be in the minority, but I am actually a fan of the ranked changes. No, they aren't perfect, but I think it's a step in the right direction, and is a more accurate ranking system for a BR, than before. Plenty of other topics about that though, Lol

Took me 40, a pubs win, but I played a bunch of ranked and did squat there. So the pubs rate was normal I think

Agreed, yes we are a minority. I do believe the new system is a step in the right direction however it needs to be re-worked for better balance.
@ Hardstuck Rookie IV @Nurrffed looks like you are one of the few besides Hardstuck Bronze IV's that have built in demotion protection 😉

3 matches. And about... went to firing range first after the failed "crossplay off" attempt... I'd say about 40 minutes. Last squad wanted to fight at edge of zone 3, I down Lifeline, Horizon kills me, as per usual no help from teammates who don't down the Valk in their 2v1, but my Fuse starts running to zone and everybody else die to zone. Ez win.

@Asmodeus566 I forget but it was won for me by 2 most excellent players. I did my bit by respawning one of them before I passed 😃 Might have been 5 or 6 days of a couple of hours play a day
G IV is more murderous than last season, full of master and diamond dive trails and badges, getting 5 or 6 squads in the final circle, but I'm enjoying it as I love the sweaty endings and am only aiming for plat IV this time, so no pressure as still over 40 days to go.

I am glad I am not in those lobbies right now. I would just end up all kinds of Salty.
I did not play enough last season so I got dropped to Bronze as I was only Gold 3.
I will keep plugging at the new ranked system, it is fun, it is tougher, and it can be improved upon.

@Asmodeus566 thank you. Got the animated diamond badge for last season and youngtree got to diamond in the first split, but he couldn't take the pressure of doing it twice. After doing it in the first season of ranked I swore I wouldn't do it again, but yt wanted to go for it and encouraged me to do it again. But i now again say never again 😃 ill be very happy if I get to plat 4. Slow and steady wins the race lol
