What does it all have to do with solo mode? We know how to play in a team. That doesn't mean that we always want to do that. Solo mode is a completely different experience, that shouldn't be even too hard to implement: 1) it doesn't need any new assets at all; 2) we have enough players to support 2 queues.
P.S. I dare you to find a single PubG player that has played exclusively only squad games. Different modes for different moods.

Apex Legends is a squad based Battle Royale.
Solo mode does not meet the standards of the game,
Rendering the uniqueness of legends wasted.
As a solo match would be too imbalanced and pure chaos and it might even render the game unstable imagine 60 artillery at once, pretty sure the server can't handle it and the server would crash.
Meaning they would have to remove legend abilities for the mode.
Which would ruin the purpose of the game.
And we all knew this was going to be a squad based battle royale when we started playing so demanding something else is quite ridiculous

Becasue now we don't have any chaos if XX players land at the same spot. Pure order! Oh, wait...
I will tell you a very important thing: nobody cares. Forcing people to play a team game is, on the part of Respawn, proof of their lack of competence in the subject of games. Solo mode should be one of the basic functions of this game. It would not bother you in any way and you could implement this option without problems in the game. The more that Apex Legends has no grounds to require a team game. This is not CS: GO, where cooperation is absolutely necessary. But even if, there is no problem to make a new solo mode and use them characters without any abilities. Its very simple to make.
The purpose of the game is to give entertainment to players and if they want to solo mode, it means that this option should be available.
If we were listening to such talk as yours, then Apex Legends would not be at all. What am I saying! If we were listening to such people, we would still be sitting in the caves and poking with sticks in the nose.

- ^^^ pretty sure respawn came about because they wanted to make the game(s) how they wanted to not how they were told to. Would you tell an artist to change his painting because it didn't suit you?
So yes the purpose of the game is to provide entertainment. But just because some players want it changed does not mean that they will or even should change it.Great points. I would just add don't be so quick to res someone especially if someone is shooting at you. Try to lobby the squad first or make sure in good cover with time for them to heal. before ressing.
But I agree looting before ressing a teamate is rude.
